PrepCare Hair began with a question: why is preparation before installation not a standard step for extension hair?

Our Story

Rebecca Cornwall, MSc, MCIEH, REnvH, founded PrepCare Hair after more than 20 years working in public protection. She previously sourced hair from China and India through her wig business, Divaz Wigs. These experiences brought together professional risk awareness and first-hand experience of sourcing extension hair, prompting her to ask more questions about how that hair is prepared before installation.

I spent more than 20 years working in public protection, and previously sourced hair directly from manufacturers through my wig business. Those experiences led me to ask a simple question: why is preparation before installation not a standard step? That question became BraidSafe®.

A focus on preparation

BraidSafe® Pre-Soak Concentrate is a pre-installation preparation soak for factory-made extension hair. PrepCare Hair’s purpose is to make preparation part of the conversation before installation, with clear product directions and an honest distinction between what is known and what is not.
